Each episode of this six-part series presents comics-related stories told through the filters of pop culture, politics, race, gender and sexuality—extending the appeal of the series beyond just comic book fans.
The series features interviews with J.K. Simmons (Spiderman), Famke Janssen (X-Men), Michelle Rodriguez (Fast and Furious), Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman), Richard Donner (Superman), comic industry legend Stan Lee, Kevin Smith (Comic Book Men), rap artist Method Man (The Wire) and many more. Rob Lowe (Parks and Rec, The West Wing) and Keri Russell (The Americans, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) also serve as narrators for the Superman and Wonder Woman episodes, respectively.
